For instance, Tekno loves to be scratched behind the ears or patted on the head. He reacts to sound, sight, and touch, and obeys several radio-controlled commands. Behaviors are launched by pressing the sensors on his head, neck, nose, and side. Children can't resist his floppy ears, wagging tail, and light-up puppy dog eyes. And should you decide Tekno needs an animal companion, he interacts with other robotic puppies. (A small warning: this toy is packaged tightly, so a small screwdriver may be necessary to remove it from the box.) Tekno measures 13-by-10 inches and requires four AA batteries and three AG13 batteries (not included).
House-training Tekno
When you bring this puppy home, he is programmed to act like a typical eight-week old puppy. As a great toy to teach children about responsibility, he knows how long it's been since he has been fed and he is quick to remind his owner when he needs playtime. This dog's internal clock wakes him up in the morning and he can also wake up your child with an alarm. Light level sensors let Tekno know when its time to sleep and he snores like a real dog. And like most real dogs, this high-tech pet gets smarter as he ages, and soon he will be singing and performing card tricks on command.
